The Campus Police Division serves as the frontline of the Dallas ISD Police Department, providing dedicated law enforcement services to schools across the district. Our officers are committed to fostering safe, secure, and welcoming learning environments where students can thrive, educators can teach, and families can feel confident that safety is our highest priority.

Working in partnership with campus administrators, staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders, Campus Police officers build positive relationships while delivering professional police services with integrity, compassion, and accountability.

What We Do

Campus Police officers provide comprehensive law enforcement and public safety services throughout Dallas ISD by:

• Conducting proactive patrols on assigned campuses and district facilities.

• Responding to emergency and non-emergency incidents.

• Protecting students, staff, and visitors during the school day and at extracurricular events.

• Investigating criminal offenses and enforcing applicable state laws and district policies.

• Collaborating with school administrators to support campus safety plans and emergency preparedness.

• Promoting crime prevention through high-visibility policing and community engagement.

• Assisting with crisis response, threat assessments, and critical incident management.

• Coordinating with specialized units, including Criminal Investigations, Traffic Enforcement, Gang Unit, Emergency Management, and Police Communications when additional resources are needed.
