Dual Credit

Dallas ISD prioritizes expanding dual credit opportunities, allowing students to earn both high school and college credits through partnerships with Texas colleges. These courses provide advanced instruction beyond high school standards and help ease the transition to college while increasing graduation rates. Offered by accredited colleges, dual credit includes academic and workforce courses. Students should note that grades are permanent on college transcripts and may affect future financial aid. Dallas ISD schools fall within the service area of Dallas College, as designated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
