Training

The SHARS department provides training throughout the year and currently has several trainings available to staff that is accessible at anytime on cornerstone.  Please contact the SHARS department at SHARS@dallasisd.org for training requests.

 

Personal Care Competency Training

This training is mandatory training for all staff who qualify as a personal care (Special Education Teacher's and Teacher Assistant's) provided as required by HHSC (Health and Human Services Commission). 

Training is self-paced and takes about 30 minutes to complete. 

SHARS/Onward Speech Training

This training shows speech staff how to use the new onward system.  A live training is also facilitated bi-weekly. Check with your lead for details. 

Training takes 1 hour. 

SHARS/Onward Personal Care Training

This training shows personal care/classroom special education staff how to use the new onward system.

Training takes 1 hour. 

* On Campus Trainings are available by principal request at any time.
