Black History Month

A Century of Black History Commemorations
Join us this Black History Month as Dallas ISD celebrates A Century of Black History Commemorations. This year marks 100 years of national Black History observances, honoring the individuals, movements, and traditions that have preserved Black history and shaped cultural identity, pride, and resilience. Throughout the month, we will uplift the stories and contributions that continue to inspire generations, while reaffirming our collective responsibility to preserve, share, and carry these stories forward.
Visit our website throughout the month to explore stories of triumph, reflection, and inspiration as we celebrate this powerful legacy. Join the conversation on social media using #DallasISDBlackHistory, and for questions, contact the Office of School Improvement at officeofschoolimprovement@dallasisd.org
