Universal Student ID Badge Initiative

The District will roll out the universal student ID Badge Initiative for the 2025 - 2026 school year. 

Requiring all PreK-12 grade students to wear an identification badge enhances school safety and efficiency by: 

• Allowing for quick identification 
• Deter unauthorized individuals from entering schools
• Assist in tracking student locations
• Providing access to library resources, cafeteria menu items, school buses, and athletic facilities
• Streamlining operations such as tracking attendance and assignment of instructional devices

The District will provide the following:

• Software and integration system for all campuses
• Dual-sided printer and webcam
• Dual-sided, pre-punched cards, and lanyards/clips
• On-site group training
