Universal Student ID Badge Initiative
The District will roll out the universal student ID Badge Initiative for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Requiring all PreK-12 grade students to wear an identification badge enhances school safety and efficiency by:
- Allowing for quick identification
- Deter unauthorized individuals from entering schools
- Assist in tracking student locations
- Providing access to library resources, cafeteria menu items, school buses, and athletic facilities
- Streamlining operations such as tracking attendance and assignment of instructional devices
The District will provide the following:
- Software and integration system for all campuses
- Dual-sided printer and webcam
- Dual-sided, pre-punched cards, and lanyards/clips
- On-site group training
