State Reporting

The State Reporting (PEIMS) Department ensures our district’s data is accurate, compliant, and submitted timely to the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Our team handles the extraction, analysis and reporting of critical information, providing essential guidance, quality assurance and support to both school and central office administrators. Additionally, the department serves as the primary contact for TEA Limited Scope Audits and Performance-Based Monitoring (PBM) interventions.

What is PEIMS?

The Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) is the data collection system used by the TEA for state reporting, encompassing a wide range of district data submitted on a scheduled basis.

• Establish and maintain clear, systematic procedures and resources that support high quality data collection and ensure compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) reporting requirements.
• Build shared knowledge and understanding of state reporting standards by continuously educating our team, district departments, and campus staff to promote accurate, timely, and reliable data.
• Serve the district with professionalism and integrity by approaching our work with a positive mindset and a commitment to being kind, helpful, responsive, and solutions oriented.
• Maintain open, proactive lines of communication to provide effective support, guidance, and collaboration for district and campus staff.
