Competitive Teams

Team max
- 7 students
Can students from different grade levels be on the same team?
- Yes, but team will have to compete in the oldest team member grade level
If I sponsor two DI teams at my campus would I receive two stipends?
- No, in order for your campus to received two stipends there needs to be two DI Teams and one coach per team
How long can the team's final presentation be?
- 8 minutes or less
Can a team have more than one Team Manager?
- Yes, but only one stipend is available per team.
Can a student participate on more than one DI team?
- No
Is there a budget limit for the team's solution?
- Yes, no more than $175
Can teams use donated or recycled materials?
- Yes, we encourage you to ask parents or campus to help with material donation.

Rising Stars

Who can participate in Rising Stars?
- K-2 graders
Campus Based
Team Max
- 9 students
Do teams receive awards?
- Yes, we will have DI participation medals for Rising Star teams
How is Rising Stars different from Competitive DI?
- Rising Stars is a fun, non-competitive introduction to DI, while Competitive DI teams are scored and compete in tournaments.
