TMSCA

Each campus is allotted up to two TMSCA coach stipends. Coaches must accept their designation in Oracle and meet all program requirements to be eligible for stipend payments. To receive the full stipend, each coach must participate with 8–10 students per event. Participation with fewer than eight students will result in a reduced stipend. 

*Students do not have to compete in every single test subject. 

NUMBER SENSE:  challenges students to solve mathematical problems mentally with speed and accuracy. Success requires strong computational skills, mathematical reasoning, and the ability to recognize efficient problem-solving strategies.

CALCULATOR APPLICATIONS: challenges students to apply mathematical concepts and calculator proficiency to a variety of quantitative problems. Questions cover a broad range of topics appropriate to each division and reward both accuracy and efficiency.

MATHEMATICS: a multiple-choice competition that challenges students to apply mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills across a broad range of topics, from foundational arithmetic and number sense to advanced algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.

SCIENCE: a multiple-choice competition that challenges students to apply scientific concepts and critical thinking across a range of disciplines. Questions emphasize scientific reasoning, conceptual understanding, and the analysis of real-world phenomena.
