Student Services
The Dallas ISD Student Services Department is committed to supporting the academic success, well-being, safety, and overall development of every student. Through a comprehensive network of programs and support services, the department works to remove barriers to learning, foster positive school environments, and ensure students and families have access to the resources they need to thrive.
Student Services partners with campuses, families, and the community to provide proactive support that promotes student engagement, physical and mental wellness, school safety, and equitable access to services across the district.

Student Engagement & Support
Provides programs and services that promote student engagement, connection, and success by supporting the emotional and behavioral needs of students and families.
Student Code of Conduct
Promotes safe, respectful, and supportive learning environments by overseeing student discipline processes and ensuring consistent implementation of the Dallas ISD Student Code of Conduct.
Mental Health Services
Coordinates districtwide mental health resources, crisis response, prevention programs, case management and clinical supports to help students maintain emotional well-being and access needed services.
Youth & Family Centers
Provides school- and community-based mental health services and family support resources for students and families. Services may include counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, case management, referrals, and family engagement supports designed to promote student well-being and academic success.
Health Services
Supports student health and wellness through school nursing services, health screenings, immunization compliance, medical care coordination, and health education initiatives.
Resource Centers
Connects students and families with essential community resources, district supports, and basic needs assistance to help remove barriers that may impact learning and student success.
GIS / Demographics
Supports district planning and decision-making through geographic information systems (GIS), demographic analysis, enrollment trends, mapping services, and data reporting that assist campuses and district departments.
Sandy Hook Promise / SAVE Promise Clubs
Supports violence prevention, student leadership, and school safety initiatives through Sandy Hook Promise programs and SAVE Promise Clubs that empower students to recognize warning signs, build connectedness, and promote a culture of kindness and inclusion.
Campus Monitor Support
Provides guidance, training, and operational support for campus monitors who help maintain safe and secure school environments for students, staff, and visitors.
Let’s Talk Customer Service
Provides customer service support and communication assistance for students, families, staff, and community members by helping connect stakeholders to information, services, and appropriate district departments in a timely and responsive manner.
