General Bus Stop and Routing Information
All posted times for bus stops are approximate as there are several variables which may contribute to arrival times such as weather, traffic and other unexpected factors.
Students should arrive at their assigned bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up time.
We strongly encourage our parents to download the EduLog Parent Portal which will provide parents / guardians with GPS and approximate arrival time information for the bus in route.
Bus Stop - All students who use District transportation shall board buses at authorized stops. CNA (LOCAL) Authorized bus stops shall be designated annually by the Superintendent of Schools or designee. Bus drivers shall load and unload passengers only at authorized stops. Students may not ride a bus to get to a destination other than the school for which they are enrolled.
Bus Route - All approved bus routes must transport only eligible students and monitors approved by the District. CNA (LOCAL)
Please note that both the drivers and the vehicles assigned to your child's bus route may be subject to change from time to time. These changes are necessary to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency for all students.
Addition of bus stops during the school year will only be considered if there is a safety concern. Otherwise, bus stops will be reviewed and considered every March for approval for the next school year.
Eligibility Criteria
The following criteria per Board Policy CNA (Local) shall be used in determining the eligibility of students for foundation school program transportation purposes and the approval of bus routes:
- The student must reside in the attendance area, as designated by the Board, of the school he or she attends and must live two or more miles from this school as measured by the nearest practical route, unless he or she attends a school by reason of a court order.
- All approved bus routes must transport only eligible students and monitors approved by the District.
