What is a Textbook Custodian?
A textbook custodian is a person responsible for managing the distribution and inventory of textbooks and other instructional materials for a campus. Their job includes ordering new and surplus materials, auditing current inventory and reconciling any lost or misplaced items.
How do I get access to TIPWeb?
Send an email LaDonna Fuller at ladofuller@dallasisd.org with your name, email address and current campus.
Can we come pick our books up?
Due to safety protocols, personal pickups are not allowed. Should an order require expedited handling, please contact a member of our team, and we will work diligently to arrange delivery to your campus as quickly as possible.
Can we give old books to students?
You may only give books to students once the materials have been determined as out of adoption.
What if I have an issue with textbook apps via Clever?
Go to the Dallas ISD IT Service Portal and click “Report an Issue.” Please fill out and submit the form so we can better assist you. Select “Instructional Applications” for affected services and “Clever” for service offering.
How do we return Surplus or Out of Adoption materials?
To return surplus materials, please use the link below and complete the form in its entirety: https://forms.gle/VKvnFcHxKsUWrU768 . All surplus material must be stored in uniform boxes and placed in an easily accessible location.
