What is Accelerated Learning?

House Bill 1416 (previously HB 4545) establishes new requirements for schools implementing accelerated instruction for students who did not pass STAAR.  Instruction must occur during the current school year or the summer session before the start of the current school year.

What does the Office of Tutoring Services do?

In an effort to exceed the specifications of HB 1416, our office ensures the needs of campuses by furnishing high quality curriculum and training for campus staff.  This includes consistent notification on all state and district Accelerated Learning updates.
