CTE Internships & Externships

Dallas ISD Career and Technical Education is currently seeking Dallas area industry leaders, businesses, and organizations to host paid student internships and/or teacher externships in partnership with Dallas ISD Career and Technical Education programs. Internships and externships will be facilitated virtually or face-to-face (unless otherwise directed due to COVID-19 restrictions); internships and externships will begin mid-June 2021 through August 2021.

Our goal is to place over 100 current junior-level students and 25 teachers in a learning opportunity within the career field of interest. If you are interested or want to learn more about our Internship and Externship programs, take the Employer-Partner Internship Externship Interest Survey; responses will be used to assess interest in becoming one of our Employer-Partners and to assist in our planning and future communications. Please submit your completed survey on or before Friday, January 22, 2021.
