Dallas ISD WFD Events
Dallas ISD's Workforce Development is striving to provide opportunities for our future generation of the workforce. We work with our industry partners, the district, and within our department to host events that will benefit our students further their career success.
Past Events
The Dallas ISD Forklift Program students attended the Forklift Career Fair to put their certifications to great use. They took headshots, participated in interviews, and attended a LinkedIn workshop.
Tomorrow's Workforce Academy (TWA) is an event where our Industry Partners prepare for hosting our students as interns over the summer.
The Dallas ISD Internship EXPO is where our high school students interview with industry partners for summer internships. Over 600 students had the opportunity to interview and build the next steps to their professional career.
"An evening to Change the Stars." Our Industry Partners were recognized for the opportunities they open up for our students every day! From mock interviews to internships, there is power in partnerships!
The Dallas ISD STEM EXPO is an annual event where departments and schools showcase STEM careers, programs, and activities for our students of all ages to learn about.
High School Seniors had a chance to explore various healthcare careers with Children's Health.
