Hello E.H. Cary family! I was born in Maracaibo, the capital city of Venezuela. I came to the United States on a full scholarship for track to Abilene Christian University at which I earned a Bachelor of Science in the field of Agronomy, then a masters in Education from Texas Women's University, and currently working on a masters in Chemistry from Texas A&M Commerce in the field of bio fuels research. I also hold coach licenses for soccer at the state level from the North Texas Soccer Association (NTSA) and Track and Field at the national level from the United States Track and Field (USTAF).

I have worked in the field of Education for 23 years ( 11 as a bilingual teacher and 12 as an assistant principal) at Dallas ISD. Through the years, I have had the opportunity to lead different educational departments at the middle school level such as bilingual reading and writing, science, math, and social studies as well as elective programs band, orchestra, choir, LCC, and athletics. My life has been devoted to educating children either as a teacher, coach and administrator. Each year has been a learning experience and a welcoming challenge.

My motto is " You will learn or you, will learn."
