• About Hillcrest High School

Hillcrest High School opened in 1938 as Vickery Meadows High School. It was renamed in 1945. For over 75 years, the school has maintained a strong tradition of academic excellence and school pride. The campus serves several Dallas communities including Preston Hollow, a portion of Vickery Meadow and a portion of Addison. Students have the opportunity to choose from a large variety of extracurricular activities, clubs and organizations. The school also offers a comprehensive AP (College Board Advanced Placement) Program and houses an Academy of Engineering.

Mission Statement: Our collective commitment is to empower all Hillcrest Panthers to become leaders who reflect on successes and failures, appreciate differences, cultivate individual passions, and to positively impact our local and global community.
