    What is the College and Career Center?
    Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, wants every student to have access to opportunities for growth after high school. Whether this means attending a four-year university, enrolling in community college, earning a professional certification at a trade school, or enlisting in the military, the College and Career Center contains resources for every Roosevelt student to explore his or her future.
    Where is the College and Career Center (CCC)
    The FDR CCC is located on the first floor, in room 115. It is across from the ROTC stairwell, and just around the corner from both the main office and the counselor’s office.
    Who can help me in the college center?
    The College and Career Center is open and available to you, as long as you have a teacher, counselor, or other school employee to help you.

    What kinds of things can I do in the College and Career Center?

    The CCC offers a wide variety of resources and advice:
    • Explore career and subject interests through Naviance and Career Cruising
    • Apply to college through Apply Texas or the Common App
    • Receive hands on college application and admissions assistance
    • Search for scholarship opportunities
    • Help with writing essays for scholarships and college applications
    • Utilize The Princeton Review materials to prepare for SAT and ACT exams
    • Complete financial aid applications such as the FAFSA and TASFA
    • Study for the ASVAB, the military entrance exam
    • Connect with college, military, and professional representatives
    • And much more!!!

    This program is an integral part of the FDR campaign to motivate and raise awareness among students and families about the benefits of higher education and how to prepare for college academically and financially.
