Raquel Galvan

I am a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and a product of Dallas ISD. I have been in education for 31 years. I have had the opportunity to work at all levels of education with various schools within the Dallas Independent School District. I started my career as an elementary teacher, bilingual teacher, ESL teacher, and middle school teacher. Some of my most rewarding years have been noted as a Middle School Counselor. Later, I served as a district support specialist as a Bilingual/ESL Specialist III and monitored 27 schools. I returned to the school setting to work directly with students, where I have served as an Associate Principal/Assistant principal/Interim Principal in all levels of education. My #1 goal is to always serve students, teachers, and the communities of Dallas ISD. "Servant Leadership is Key"
