    The Career Management System (CMS)
In Dallas ISD, Central staff play a key role in raising student achievement by supporting and empowering the work of our campuses. To raise student achievement in Dallas ISD, each of the district’s 20,000 employees must be working toward a shared vision, focused on the same outcomes, and striving for excellence. The Career Management System (CMS) is a tool for defining, supporting and rewarding excellence for central, support, and non-instructional campus-based staff. The Performance Management Team is available to assist with any questions.
View the CMS Overview webinar below.

The 2020-2021 CMS Appraisal cycle will launch for eligible employees in early September. A goal-setting task will be available in Cornerstone to all CMS-eligible employees for completion during the Goal-Setting/Planning phase.

More information about the Career Management System can be found in the 2019-2020 CMS Guidebook and 2019-2020 CMS Leadership Rubric
