• The Career Management System (CMS)
    In Dallas ISD, Central staff play a key role in raising student achievement by supporting and empowering the work of our campuses. To raise student achievement in Dallas ISD, each of the district’s 20,000 employees must be working toward a shared vision, focused on the same outcomes, and striving for excellence. The Career Management System (CMS) is a tool for defining,supporting and rewarding excellence for central, support, and non-instructional staff. The Performance Management Team is available to assist with any questions.
    CMS End-of-Year Review Window 
    The CMS End-of-Year Review includes an employee self-review and an appraiser review. The following links provide helpful information for End-of-Year process:
    Steps in the End-of-Year Review are outlined below.  
               *End of Year Review Window for employees working <217 days will open May 8, 2017.
    Notes for Appraisers:
    • An in-person conference is required as a portion of the review process
    • Employee scores become visible after the appraiser clicks “SUBMIT.”  As a best practice, it is suggested the appraiser select “SAVE AS DRAFT” and hold the in person review before submitting the appraisal
    • Employees are afforded an opportunity to provide additional comments/rebuttal to the review.  You will be notified by email after employees submit their appraisal acknowledgment/rebuttal with any additional actions
