• The Career Management System (CMS)
    In Dallas ISD, Central staff play a key role in raising student achievement by supporting and empowering the work of our campuses. To raise student achievement in Dallas ISD, each of the district’s 20,000 employees must be working toward a shared vision, focused on the same outcomes, and striving for excellence. The Career Management System (CMS) is a tool for defining, supporting and rewarding excellence for central, support, and non-instructional staff. The Performance Management Team is available to assist with any questions.

    The 2017-2018 CMS Appraisal Cycle launches with individual goal-setting and the Fall Conference on Thursday, September 14.  Individual, job-specific goals are a key component of the Career Management System.  Employees should develop a minimum of one job-specific, measurable goal annually that aligns to the work of the team, department, or division.  While goals are usually set at the beginning of the appraisal cycle, they can be adjusted as needed throughout the appraisal cycle.
