Stephanie S. Elizalde, Ed.D.
Chief of School Leadership
Stephanie S. Elizalde assumed the post of Dallas ISD Chief of School Leadership in December 2015 to provide direction for instructional programs at the district’s 222 schools with a focus on increasing student achievement and improving instruction. Elizalde joined the district in 2011 as director of the STEM program. Most recently, she served as assistant superintendent of School Leadership and feeder pattern executive director.
Prior to joining Dallas ISD, Elizalde, who has 32 years of experience in educational leadership, held a variety of leadership positions in San Antonio ISD and Southwest ISD. She served as early college high school leadership facilitator with the Texas High School Project and as assistant superintendent for curriculum with the Shekinah Learning Institute.
Elizalde holds bachelor's and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin.
