Marquette McGee is a native of Dallas, Texas and is a proud alumni of the Dallas Independent School District.  Ms. McGee is a mighty tiger graduate of THE Lincoln Humanities Communications Magnet. She then attended the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology. She then entered the corporate world as a an engineer for MCI and Verizon Communications. Ms. McGee then took her talents to the education realm and has been in education for 11 years with titles such as a high school math teacher, department chair, step team coach, cheer coach, CILT team member, and more. Ms. McGee has worked in Cedar Hill, Arlington, Grand Prairie and Irving ISD. After several years in education, Ms. McGee decided to continue her education and pursued a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University and acquired her Principal certification. Ms. McGee enjoys crafting, traveling, sports and spending time with her family and friends especially her daughter. Ms. McGee is excited about returning to Dallas ISD to thrive in her passion which is being a servant leader and doing her best to grow staff and students.
