• The Counseling Department

    BOMLA Counseling Department will focus on the academic, social, and emotional development of the students through four key components:

    Guidance - classroom based lessons on specific topics

    Responsive Services - address student concerns through individual counseling, group counseling, and referral to district and community services

    Individual Planning - meet with student to establish educational/career goals, interpret test scores, graduation requirement planning, and identify opportunities to assist in developing in leadership, academic skills, and social/emotional intelligence

    System Support - provide service to school-based committees, develop parental-school collaboration, and foster school-community partnerships
