Mark Twain School for the Talented and Gifted is one of newest premier magnet schools offered by the Dallas Independent School District. Our mission is to ensure that all students participate and excel in advanced studies to prepare them for competing in a Global Industry. We offer our students access and opportunity to participate in our two-way Dual Language, Advanced Academics through Accelerated Instruction, Prescriptive Social and Emotional Learning Support, Advanced Fine Arts, Robotics and STEM activities in addition to the extracurricular clubs of the students interest. 

     Our accelerated instruction grants students an opportunity to engage in content for real world connections and integrate extensions and preparation for beyond their current grade level. We take pride in and encourage our students to actively engage in extracurricular activities that we offer centered around activities such as Chess, ART Studio, Readers are Leaders, Journaling, Robotics, Debate, Gaming, Makerspace, Destination Imagination and the Lone Star Challenge.
