I teach Spanish here at TJHS. My classroom culture is about being positive and supportive with students. It is not easy to learn or to master a second language. Sometimes, students feel hopeless and puzzled with so many cultural differences from the place they come from and the place they live in and that’s why I need them to know that it is ok to make mistakes and that they need to learn from them. A language is not only a skill but also a privilege they have to fight for.

I graduated from University of Texas El Paso in 2014 and have a degree in Health Science and a minor in Education. I previously worked in El Paso. The best highlight of my career was teaching in a summer camp in Brazil. I Dont have a classroom, I'm "Classroomless." I like to get my students engaged as much as possible to get them to enjoy the class.
