Hello! My name is Erin Brinkman, and I am so excited to be the new counselor at Hexter! Although new to Hexter, I am not new to East Dallas or DISD. I previously served as counselor at another East Dallas elementary school and will be starting my 22nd year in education. I have counseling and teaching experience at both the elementary and secondary levels. I am also a DISD parent! 

I love living in East Dallas with my son, Beaux, and our 2 dogs. I enjoy the outdoors, live music, musical theater, and my Texas Longhorns!

I look forward to working with Hexter students, families, and staff in supporting the social, emotional, and academic needs of our Hexter Hawks!
