• Rosemont Elementary was established in 1922. It is located in Oak Cliff and is a neighborhood school with a rich tradition for excellence in education. Overtime, the campus has grown to create Rosemont Schools, a partnership between Rosemont Lower - Chris V. Semos Primary (Pre-K - 3rd) and Rosemont Upper (4th- 8th).

    Rosemont offers a Dual Language Program that helps children learn and be able to communicate in a second language, within an enrichment model. In 2012, Rosemont Elementary expanded to include grades 6-8 becoming the first application Dual Language Middle School in Dallas ISD. In 2018, Rosemont was the first school to offer Foreign Language in Elementary School (FLES). The FLES program offers Spanish to all General Education students through 135 minutes/week of conversational Spanish connected to themed curriculum.

    Families have come to expect focus on the arts which Rosemont offers through art, dance, music, and its partnership with Dallas Children’s Theatre.

    Rosemont prides itself on having strong parental and community engagement. Including its Rosemont Dad’s Club, a PTA of over 300 members, as well as the oldest Early Childhood PTA in the state of Texas, chartered in 1926. The school’s Site Based Decision Making committee (SBDM) is very active and often used as a model for other schools.

    Rosemont is a community school that is actively engaged in fostering healthy, productive students in a nurturing environment producing global citizens.
