Iman Jones, a Dallas native, holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of
Texas at Arlington. An artist at her core, she has chosen photography as her primary mode
of expression and uses creative writing as a compliment to the story telling process. Iman
originates from a family of adventurers, and has become a zealous traveler herself. She is
invested in the power of education, and as a first year teacher is excited to give that
enthusiasm to the students of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing
and Visual Arts. All of these attributes, are the gifts that make her delivery of STEM
content relatable and meaningful to the lives of students. Iman's journey is one of
spreading love, acceptance and positive light.
