Isaac Leaverton is excited to be a member of the theatre faculty at BTWHSPVA working primarily in musical theatre. A native of Ohio, Isaac graduated from Capital University’s Conservatory of Music where he earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Music Education and Organ Studies. In 2016, he completed his Master’s degree in the Practice of Voice and Singing at the Guildford School of Acting, University of Surrey. Specializing in musical theatre, Isaac has worked internationally as a vocal coach, music director, dialect coach, and accompanist with various schools and organizations. In the Dallas area, he has collaborated on projects with various companies including Uptown Players, Theatre Three, Brick Road Theatre, Firehouse Theatre, OhLook Performing Arts, and Pegasus Theatre. In his teaching, Isaac is passionate about helping actors discover the vast abilities of the voice as well as develop the tools and techniques to effectively communicate the deeper meaning of a text, scene or moment.
