      • To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;
      • To raise the standards of home life;
      • To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
      • To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
      • To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

    Speaker - Dee O'Neill, from the Center for Brain Health at UTD.  Dee will discuss the topic of mindfulness and share the neuroscience behind it, as well as, general stress management tools.

    Speaker - Dallas Police Department will speak about drug awareness. We will also have a speaker addressing mental health and its relationship to drug abuse.

    Commemorative Bricks

    Help support Woodrow, and leave your mark, by purchasing a commemorative brick!

    The Class of 2003 installed the first commemorative bricks and benches in our horseshoe to create a Woodrow "Walk of Pride" seating area.  You can purchase a brick for a student, an alum, your favorite teacher or your class.  Order are taken during the school year through the end of May.  Installation will happen over the summer break.

    Pricing:  Current students can purchase a brick for $45.  once a student has graduated the price of the bricks will increase to $90.  
    Keep in mind that this is a Fundraiser and there is a limited amount of space in our courtyard.
