I’m originally from the Rio Grande Valley and moved to DFW area about 6 years ago. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with emphasis in education from Southwestern Adventist University in 2015. After college, I joined Teach for America and worked at my placement school for 3 years in Fort Worth ISD. I decided I wanted to continue my education and finished my master’s degree in STEM education at SMU in 2017.

My personal philosophy for education is believing in educating the WHOLE person academically, emotionally, and personally. Every student deserves a quality education because every student has a purpose to be alive and I want to help them find it.

This year is my second year in special education and in DISD. I'm excited to see how each of my students will continue to grow.
