The Dance class:
The focus in Dance class is to create dancers with a strong understanding and development of the skills needed to express themselves through dance performance. Dancers learn many styles of dance, with an emphasis on Ballet. They also learn dance vocabulary, history, costume design, the muscles of the body, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
1st Semester Dance Recital production is the Nutcracker. You are invited to take a magical escape along with our talented Dance students as they journey to the Land of Sweets. Looking ahead to spring; the Spring Recital is where the students will perform many styles of dance from lyrical, hip hop, jazz, novelty and tap. Some of our talented dancers will also perform solos and small group dances which they will have choreographed themselves.
