• A Message From the Principal:

    Johnson

As we continue to work together to transition to online learning, I want to sincerely thank all of our school stakeholders: teachers, support staff, parents, students and the entire school community for your commitment to our collective academic work. You have done a great job adjusting to At-Home-Learning given our recent circumstances. I am very proud to serve each and every one of you!

Although we cannot control what is going on right now, we can control working together to ensure successful outcomes for students. Please choose to remain steadfast with the work, continue to foster valuable life skills, and encourage students to use their time wisely to continue on the road with academic achievement and meeting individual growth goals. Know that maximum effort during the next six weeks will enhance each student's skills for their next grade level.

While we look forward to eventually returning to the normal routines, I encourage each of you to continue to work to be flexible and patient and I appreciate your continued support. We will continue to work together in partnership for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. I will continue to share pertinent information for the the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. Again it is my pleasure to serve the Rufus C. Burleson Elementary School community. Please know that your students are our number one priority!
