    I have been an educator for 12 years. I joined David W. Carter High School in 2019 where I teach history subjects in the Collegiate Academy. I also an adjunct instructor at Dallas College. I am married and have two high school age children. History is important because I feel that our lessons from the past will guide us in navigating the future.
