On Campus

• Must have a teacher pass 
• Library is open 9:00-5:00 
• At this time you may check out up to 3 books
• Ask your librarian how you can self check out in the library

Books To Go

• Log into the Hillcrest Library Catalog below
• Sign in with your Student ID, Password = Last 4 digits of your ID 
• Find the book you want and select Place Hold 
• Join the Book Pick Up Remind @g24963c 
• Your librarian will get your books and send you a message when they are ready for pick up 
• Library book pick up will be Tuesday/Thursday 10-11am and 4-5pm 
• Directions Below 

E-Books 

• Log into the Hillcrest Library Catalog Below
• Sign in with your Student ID, Password = Last 4 digits of your ID 
• Search for books 
• On the left side select e-books 
• Download and start reading!

At the top right click Login

Your Library Card Number = Your Student ID

Your PIN/Password = Last 4 digits of your Student ID

How to Search and Place a Book on Hold  

1. Log into the Hillcrest HS Library Catalog https://ls2.dallasisd.org/?config=006#section=home

2. Password = Student #/ID  PIN= Last 4 digits of your Student # 

3. Search for your book (Make sure it says book under the title) 

4. Click on Place Hold 

How to Pick Up Your Books at School

1. Join Remind for Book Pick Up at @g24963c

2. Send a message to me on Remind that you have placed a book on hold 

3. I will send you a message when it is ready for pick up

4. Your book will be on a cart outside the library side door (Look for a sign) 

5. Message me that you picked up your book

How To Return Your Books

1. Simply come and place your book in the box by the same door that says book return
