     Welcome back Lagow Lions!

As a school and community, we are experiencing many challenges and uncertainties due to Covid-19. Something I am certain has not changed, is our students' passion for reading. Even though our physical library is closed, we will still offer many library services.  You will still be able to request books you love whether you are on campus for face to face learning or at home for virtual learning. All the information you need is right here on our website.

The mission at Lagow's Media Center is to promote information and digital literacy to students, staff and the community. Through collaboration, research and critical thinking, students will become proficient learners in accessing information in the 21st century.

The media center's vision is to be an inclusive center of learning that celebrates diversity and provides equitable access to resources.

Hello lions! I am so glad you've dropped by our website. I hope it is helpful in your growing as a reader and life long learner.

On campus, I am affectionately known as Ms. T. I have over 30 years experience teaching 1st - 6th grades in Texas, Louisiana and California. The last 12 years, I've been the librarian at Richard Lagow. Obviously, I love to read and hope to inspire others to find their love for reading as well.

I am a proud native of South Louisiana who knows how to cook just about all of the Cajun and Creole dishes. It's worth noting, I do not, I repeat, I do not share my recipes emoji . I am mother to two sons, Jay and Julian and a daughter, Taylor. I own a Mini Red Merle Australian Shepherd named Saian Raine.
