About Dr. Lamecia Rhodes
Dr. Lamecia Rhodes was born and raised in Fort Worth and joined Dallas ISD in 2002. She has served DISD in a range of roles, from teacher to her current position as the principal at IGNITE Middle School. Dr. Rhodes prides herself on her passion and ability to help students and teachers reach their fullest potential. She is a leader who values strong and lasting relationships and maintains a steadfast commitment to quality instruction for all students! She believes we are all charged with making a difference in the lives of children and that we can do this by supporting a collaborative school culture where faculty, staff, parents, students, and all other stakeholders have a voice in the shared responsibility of creating a common vision built on the foundation of shared values. She is excited about helping scholars ignite their superpowers and soar to new levels.
