Bond 2020 Overview

  • On November 3, voters approved the two major Dallas ISD bond propositions, totaling $3.470 billion. Voters said yes to Proposition A, which includes $3.2 billion to fund repairs and upgrades to more than 200 of the district’s 230 campuses, and Proposition B, which provides $270 million to cover the cost of purchasing and making updates to district technology.

Dallas ISD is committed to building understanding and support for our Bond Program. It is important to us that our key stakeholders — parents, students, staff, business, and community leaders – understand the details of bond projects, including purpose, timeline, progress, decision-making rationale, and commitment to quality construction. Our goal is to provide timely information through the web, social media, public meetings, and more.
