• Parent Involvement

Parents are encouraged to participate in opportunities such as leadership roles alongside community liaison. The Family Engagement Leadership Team creates opportunities for parents to show their leadership skills by developing school events, parent workshops, and student-parent class participation.  Parent committees are created by the parents to include the community, parents, and teachers to develop activities where parents are included in the student's academic success.

    Parent Teacher Association

The Parent-Teacher Association at Anne Frank Elementary School is a strong, active, innovative force that links the school and the community. The PTA sponsors many activities, such as the Fall Carnival and the Yearbook. It assists in raising funds to benefit the needs of the students. Many parents volunteer their time tutoring students and assisting teachers. Anne Frank's Partners in Education not only provide volunteers for tutoring but also, through donations, sponsor many programs such as Young Audiences and Reading is Fundamental.

    F.E.L.T. Family Engagement Leadership Team

The Anne Frank F.E.L.T. offers parents, teachers, and administrators to come together as a committee, to plan, implement, and monitor family engagement events/activities.  The committee analyzes data from Home2Home visits, Family Community Engagement surveys, Dallas ISD surveys, and other feedback methods to develop a strategic plan for family engagement.  F.E.L.T. promotes a school-wide aligned definition of quality family engagement.
