• Dual Credit Opportunities

    During selected school years, BTWHSPVA students are able to gain college credit for many of the conservatory courses needed for graduation.  An informational meeting for students and parents is held, and representatives from El Centro Community College typically explain the registration process and answer questions.

    The Film and Video Arts Program at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts offers students Dual Credit College (DCCCD) Courses in which students can accumulate a total of 12 hours toward a college degree. These course are available to juniors and seniors who aspire to pursue the art of film making in higher education institutions.
