• Robotics

    Robotics provides students the opportunity to work and create together while they explore science and technology concepts. Teams explore a real-world scientific problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc. and then create a Show Me poster that illustrates their journey of discovery and introduces their team. They also construct a motorized model of what they learned using LEGO elements.

     

    Chess

    The game of chess increases higher level thinking skills, advanced math and reading skills, and builds self-confidence. Students can learn or practice chess puzzles during Chess Club. Chess teaches students logic and problem solving. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions throughout the year.

    Coding- Beebot Club

    In this club we will learn the foundations of coding! We will learn how to program Beebots to move in specific ways and achieve specific goals, in order to set a strong foundation for coding in the upper grades.

     

    Lego Club

    A club to engage innovative thinkers in engineering design challenges.

     

    Young Men’s Leadership -Biomedical International Explorers Club

    The Young Men's Leadership- Biomedical International Explorers Club supports young men in today's world by exposing them to international culture, career exploration, and civil service.

     

    First Lego League- Robotics

    Art club provides an opportunity for students to express their creativity through drawing, painting, and creating.

     

    Destination Imagination

    Destination Imagination motivates young people to look for the challenges in life and see them as opportunities for growth. DI inspires students to solve problems, search for creative solutions, and to work cooperatively with others.

    Gardening Club

    Our gardening club at Biomedical Preparatory consists of two groups of students in grades Pre-K4 through first grade. Garden club is a gathering of students who are interested in learning about, working with, and tending to plants and gardens.

     

    Yoga Club

    Our Yoga Club allows students to develop mindfulness by practicing different yoga poses. 

     

    Environment

    We will be learning how to plant new seeds and how to re-plant as well. We will be exploring the essential needs of plants and help beautify our new campus! 

     

    Zumba

    Our goals are to improve physical health by moving and being active, enhance emotional development, and encourage socialization and creativity

     

    Readers' Theater

    In reader's theater, students "perform" by reading scripts created from grade-level books or stories without costumes or props. Reader's theater is a strategy that combines reading practice and performing.

     

    Dance

    In Dance Club, students will learn techniques that will help them learn not only how to dance but also give them better balance and more fluid movements.
