Greetings Medrano Eagles Faculty, Staff, and Community,

 

Welcome to Medrano Junior High! I am thrilled to be back as the MJHS principal for the 14^th year!  2023-2024 will be an awesome year for students, teachers, and staff!

 

The new school year brings much excitement as we will implement a new reading curriculum, Amplify, and math curriculum, Carnegie, to provide grade level instruction to all students. In all classes, we make sure students are ready to meet any challenge in their future!

 

As we learn and grow together this school year, we will ensure successful outcomes of all students academically and socially!  Our teachers will be creating, refining, and supporting best-in-class systems for leading and learning. Additionally, we will continually and critically analyze data to address the needs of students and provide individualized instruction to all learners. Our administrative team including Assistant Principals, Mr. Miller and Mr. Jacobs, our counselors, Ms. Jones, Ms. Kappler, and Mrs. Tairu, our Campus Coordinator, Mrs. Kokkinos, and our Reset Coordinator, Mr. Ruiz, will work to make a difference in the lives of our students by supporting them with social emotional learning! And our district will support all staff at Medrano as we strive to meet the district’s mission to educate all students for success!
