PARENT COMPACT

The purpose of this Parent-School Compact is to establish a shared understanding of the responsibilities of both home and school to ensure that every child achieves high standards and receives a quality education.

School Responsibilities:

1.High-Quality Curriculum and Instruction

   - Provide a rigorous curriculum aligned with state standards.

   - Employ effective teaching methods to enhance student learning.

   - Offer timely and constructive feedback to students.

2. Safe and Supportive Learning Environment

   - Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

   - Provide necessary support services to address academic and emotional needs.

   - Maintain open communication with parents and guardians.

3. Parent-Teacher Communication

   - Hold regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress.

   - Provide frequent reports on student progress through online portals and other means.

   - Encourage parental involvement in school activities and decision-making processes.

Parent Responsibilities:

1.Support Learning at Home

   - Ensure regular attendance and punctuality.

   - Monitor homework and assignments.

   - Encourage reading and other educational activities.

2. Communication with School

   - Stay informed about school activities and events.

   - Communicate regularly with teachers regarding student progress.

   - Attend parent-teacher conferences and school meetings.

3. Involvement in School Activities

   - Volunteer in school activities and events when possible.

   - Participate in decision-making processes related to school improvement.

   - Support the school’s policies and programs.

Student Responsibilities:

1. Commitment to Learning

   - Attend school regularly and arrive on time.

   - Complete assignments and homework diligently.

   - Strive for academic excellence and take responsibility for learning.

2. Positive Behavior

   - Follow school rules and policies.

   - Respect teachers, staff, and peers.

   - Maintain a positive attitude towards learning and school activities.

3. Communication

   - Discuss academic progress with parents and teachers.

   - Seek help when needed and use available resources.

   - Participate in school activities and programs.
