L.V. Stockard Middle School Library
Our Stockard Library and Media Center houses over 10,000 reference, informational, and fiction books. Our diverse collection also includes videos, CDs, PlayAways, and more than 20 magazine subscriptions. Twelve computers are networked to the Internet and available for student use. The Dallas ISD also provides students with access to high-quality databases to support student research needs.

PASSES: Except for before and after school, students must bring a pass from a teacher to visit the library. Everyone should sign in at the circulation desk. Lunch passes can be picked in the library before school.
CHECK-OUT: Students are normally allowed to check out four books at a time, more if needed for an assignment. The check-out period is two weeks. A STUDENT ID is required to check out books.
FINES: Fines are not assessed for past due books, however, students with overdue books may not check out other materials. Students will be charged the replacement cost for lost, damaged, or non-returned items.
PRINTING: Students may use the library printer to print school-related assignments and projects. Personal printing costs 10 cents per sheet.
