Mrs. Marissa Limon

In her sixth year at the helm, Marissa Limon is the proud Principal of Dan D. Rogers Elementary School. As one of the original personalized learning schools in Dallas ISD, Rogers has helped pioneer the road to individualized instruction. Ms. Limon takes great pride in the work Rogers has done to tailor students’ educational experiences by leveraging their strengths and interests to meet them at their needs. Rogers has developed an instructional model that integrates social emotional learning, blended learning, and project-based learning while enabling students to be drivers in their own education.

This fall, Ms. Limon begins her fifteenth year at Rogers and in education. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas A&M University - Commerce. She previously taught Math and Science in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades before serving the Rogers community as the Personalized Learning Coordinator and then, Assistant Principal. As both an educator and mother of three, Ms. Limon is passionate about advocating for children to find the support they need to become empowered learners and global citizens.
