Victor H. Hexter
Our school is named for Victor Henry Hexter, a prominent Dallas attorney. Mr. Hexter was born on March 21, 1864, in Baltimore, MD. He received his law degree in Memphis, TN, and in 1887 moved to Dallas to practice law. From the beginning, Mr. Hexter was actively involved in the community and advocated for civic programs and the government of Dallas. Mr. Hexter served two terms as a city councilman and served as the president of the Dallas Board of Education in 1907. He died in Dallas on January 25, 1951.
