• John Leslie Patton, Jr. Academic Center students are required to dress for success and maintain a “Young Adult Professional Appearance.” Prospective interviewers, employers, college and military recruiters visit our campus regularly; and all students must be ready to make an exceptional first impression on-the-spot.

    • Light brown or black, khaki pants (No cargo pants or jeans)
    • Ties

    Ladies

    • White, black, or green, professional looking tops or blouses
    • Brown or black belts (as applicable)
    • Light brown or black, khaki pants or skirts (No cargo pants or jeans)
    • Solid black dresses are allowed as approved by the administration
      (No leggings or tights)
    • Scarves

    Shoes

    • Solid black or white, athletic shoes, loafers, dress shoes, or other closed-toed/closed-heel shoes
      ( Shoe strings must match the color of the shoe)
    • Mules described as closed-toes and open-heel are appropriate
      (Steel-toed shoes, flip-flops, sandals, house shoees, clogs or scuffs are unacceptable)
