Ashley Strader, a dedicated educator and mother of three, has spent 20 years shaping young minds. With a Bachelor's in Education from the University of North Texas, she has excelled in diverse teaching roles at institutions like Sem Elementary (Frisco ISD), Hickman Elementary (Garland ISD), etc. Known for her adaptability and commitment, Ashley is a distinguished teacher recognized for her innovative approaches. In addition to her teaching career, Ashley is a loving mother, balancing the demands of both worlds with resilience and dedication. She served as a licensed trainer for the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS) from 2011 to 2019, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning.
Beyond her professional commitments, Ashley actively participates in community initiatives, embodying her passion for education. Her 20-year journey reflects a legacy of compassion, impact, and dedication to fostering a love of learning in both her students and her own family.

In my third year of teaching, I am inspired to teach and educate students on the history and knowledge necessary to create their music by taking the skills we learn in music and mariachi class. Students learn by experiencing and through the performance of the music they are learning. By doing so, they are building relationships and a community while sharing the joy of music. I use my own experience of performing in Mariachi Lone Star, which has performed at many events around the DFW.

 I am originally from the Austin area. After graduating from UNT in 2015, I worked at Dallas Children’s Theater from 2015 to 2019. I have been a theater teacher for Dallas ISD since 2019.
