    Business and Finance Academy
    Accounting and Finance

    Accounting and Finance students learn how to create and analyze financial data for internal and external stakeholders while earning transferable college credit.   Certification opportunities in Microsoft Excel, Access, and QuickBooks are offered to increase student marketability. Students earn the Accounting Clerk certificate through a partnership with El Centro College.

    Business Management and Administration

    Business Management and Administration: Business Management and Administration prepares students for executive management through experiential learning in management theory, human capital management, and small business development. One aspect of the program is the creation and operation of the Enterprise Business District, a Business Improvement District (BID), created to give “hands on” practicum experience in business development and its impact on different stakeholders in a community. In addition, students learn the fundamentals of data analysis for strategic initiatives. Students earn the PC User certificate through a partnership with El Centro College.


    Marketing Academy   

    Competitive Marketing

    Competitive Marketing gives the students the opportunity to experience marketing through a series of innovative projects in marketing, advertising, and sales promotion.  Students will be given an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage by networking and showcasing skills to corporate partners.   Students will demonstrate leadership by designing real world projects that will impact the classroom, their local school and the community in which they serve.   Students earn the Interactive Media Development certificate through a partnership with El Centro College.

    Social Media Marketing

    Social Media Marketing prepares students to develop the ability to effectively create and implement school-wide promotional campaigns inclusive of school announcements, blogging, vlogging, tweeting, texting, and creating video announcements via various social media mediums (i.e. Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook,  other emerging technologies such as: video/audio editing, animation and graphic design). The highlight of this program is that students plan, create, and execute weekly live-streamed internet radio shows.  Students earn the Interactive Media Development certificate through a partnership with El Centro College.


    Technology Academy

    Gaming and Animation

    Gaming and Animation students will explore fundamental principles of animation and game development with emphasis on animation, game design, multimedia productions, and publishing. After completion of these courses the students will have learned the following programming languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, and additionally the follow markup languages: HTML5 and CSS3. Students earn Programmer 1, Web Applications Development, and Interactive Media Development certificates through a partnership with El Centro College.

    IT Academy

    Information Technology (IT) Academy students gain hands-on experience in technology, web design, PC maintenance, computer networking, cybersecurity, and AP Computer Science Principles. The curriculum used in the AP Computer Science Principles course is from code.org. Certifications acquired by the students are IC3, Network Pro, and PC Pro.  These certifications increase student marketability whether pursuing a college degree in IT or entering the workforce upon graduation. Also, students earn the Technology Support certificate through a partnership with El Centro College.
