All-Star Parent Appreciation and Resource Fair
Dallas ISD parents are ready to step up to the plate to help their children succeed, but the real home run was when approximately 1,400 parents attended the 2016 Parent Resource Fair and Appreciation.
Parents are superheroes
Parents are superheroes when it comes to supporting their children’s success, and approximately 1,000 of them proved their willingness to access resources and learn new skills by attending the 2015 resource fair and celebration for parents. During the event at D.A. Hulcy, schools also were recognized for their exemplary parent engagement.
PREP U Super Saturdays
PREP U Super Saturdays are feeder pattern events that include information for families to help them participate more, community exhibitors with resources for parents, and a variety of activities that encourage students and families to be active.
Dallas ISD is expanding opportunities for students, thanks to an exciting partnership with the Dallas County Community College District. In fall 2016, eight new collegiate academies will open, one of which is a Pathways to Technology Early College High School (P-TECH), the first of its kind in the state of Texas.
