Ms. M. Davis - Lead Assistant Principal

6th Grade Principal

Marcie Davis is the assistant principal at Dr. Billy E. Dade Middle School. Prior to her current position, Ms. Davis served in multiple positions in Dallas ISD including administrator, Academic Facilitator, instructional specialist, and teacher. These competencies have made her instrumental in advancing our teachers and scholars in challenging opportunities to learn and grow, while preserving powerful relationships that ensure our students to become career and college ready. 

 

Ms. Davis is a proud graduate from Grambling State University earning a B.A. in English. In addition, she earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Lamar University. She is an avid reader and writer, and loves to instill the love for literacy in children. Her favorite quote is a true testament to how she lives as an educator. “Every success story is a tale of constant adaptation, revision, and change”.

Ms. K. Brown - Assistant Principal

7th Grade Principal

Kike Brown is the current 7th grade assistant principal at Dr. Billy E. Dade Middle School. Previously, Brown served as an assistant principal at Terrell High School. In that role she was responsible for 10th and 11th grade students and supervised both the ELAR and CATE departments. She worked closely with LPAC and assisted in creating memorable cultural events for the school and the community. Brown was recognized for her achievement in the areas of improving student discipline and developing staff morale by building strong relationships and promoting team comradery.

Brown graduated from Louisiana State University; Shreveport with a Master of Science degree in Human Services Administration. She earned her Principal certification from the University of North Texas in Denton in May 2015. Brown has over 20 years of educational experience as a 12th grade British Literature teacher, Reading Department Chair, New Teacher Mentor, Curriculum writer, Dyslexia Coordinator, Administrative intern at South Garland High School, and current secondary administrator.  Brown is a native of Jamaica who migrated to the United States in 2000. She is the mother of a 14-year-old son and loves to travel in her spare time. Her favorite quote is “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples”.

Ms. D. Corbin - Assistant Principal

8th Grade Principal

Denetta Corbin currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Dr. Billy E. Dade Middle School. Previously, Corbin had served as a mathematics teacher for over a decade. In that role, she was named Teacher of the Year (2012-2013), Master Teacher and Distinguished Teacher (Exemplary II).

Corbin graduated from Dallas Baptist University (DBU) with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in mathematics. She also earned a master’s degree in Educational Administration at DBU and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) at Walden University. Corbin has 13 years of educational experience in various capacities, including as a mathematics teacher, department chair and campus instructional coach. She’s a wife and mother of five and enjoys shopping. Her favorite quote is “Great leaders don’t set out to be a leader. They set out to make a difference. It is never about the role-always about the goal.”

Mr. D. Frazier - Assistant Principal

8th Grade Principal

Dominique Frazier was named as one of the Assistant Principals of Billy E. Dade Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year.  Previously Mr. Frazier served DISD in a leadership role and Middle School Athletic Director at Billy E. Dade from 2014-2019.

 

Mr. Frazier graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Sociology.  He earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and obtained his Principal credentials through Lamar university’s Educational Leadership Program.  Mr. Frazier has 18 years of educational experience in various capacities including serving as an Inclusion Teacher, Redirection Unit Teacher, and Itinerant Behavior Teacher.  He is a husband and father of three and enjoys farming in his spare time.
